Twelve Animal Astrological Signs
Most Chinese people believe that twelve animal astrological signs will affect their path of life. Twelve animal astrological signs were found thousand years ago. In the new era modern life, many people from other country have started to believe in twelve animal astrological signs as well. In China, every year has a different sign of animal. Moreover, it is not decided by normal calendar but Chinese calendar, which is known as lunar calendar. The most interesting part is lunar calendar starts on the second month of normal calendar, which is the month of February with different date in every year. The twelve animal astrological signs will change when it turns come. Let us assume 1900 is the first count on twelve animal astrological signs as an example. In 1900, the animal sign of the year is mouse. Therefore, the order will be mouse followed by buffalo, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, chicken, dog and the last one is pig. It will be repeatedly change in order in every twelve years. Chinese people assume that different animal signs will give people different characteristics. Let us take monkey sign as an example. People who born in monkey’s year tend to be a smart people and a quick thinker. In summary, according to the beliefs, animal astrological signs will also affect in determine how a person’s life will be.
