Fender Basses
Fender is a company that produces musical instruments since 1930s. At first, the inventor, Leo Fender, made some custom guitars and amplifiers. But decades ago, Leo started to produced the Electric Bass Guitars. And now, Fender is the biggest bass guitars producer in the World. Fender’s most famous products are Precision Bass, Jazz Bass, and the Artist Series. First, fender released the Precision Bass in 1951. In short, it was called P-Bass. It was made for the session players in America. But now, rock bassists are also using this gear. Secondly, is the Jazz Bass that was introduced in 1960s. The purpose of Leo to produce Jazz bass is to switch the traditional upright bass that used by the Jazz musician to become modern. Now, this bass is the standard gear for a bass player. Almost every player has one of it. The Jazz Bass it self can be differ because the options for the features. But basically, the tone of the bass is jazzy. And lastly, are the artist series. There are several types of Artist Series, which differ each other. They were called artist series, because the basses were made based from the order of a bass player. Now, there are twelve artist series bass. And they are; Stu Hamm Urge II Bass, Frank Bello Signature, Jaco Pastorius Jazz Bass, Marcus Miller Jazz Bass, Mark Hoppus Jazz Bass, Mike Drint Precision Bass, Roscoe Beck Bass, Reggie Hamilton Standard Bass, Sting Precision Bass, Tony Franklin Fretless, Victor Bailey Jazz Bass, and Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. In short, Fender has 3 types of bass: Precision Bass, Jazz Bass, and Artist Series.
